WHAT size is my filter?

Find the sticker placed on the Side of your AirClean Filter, giving you the item code and dimensions.

WHEN do I replace my filter?

FOR HOME: Every 12 months

FOR OFFICE:  Every 3-6 months or have a regular maintenance program in place.

WHERE is my filter located?

They are generally located in the ceiling mounted return air grille or wall mounted low level return air grille.

HOW do I know when its time to replace my filter?

A visual check of the AirClean filter is required.  When the light coloured filter medium has changed from medium to dark great (trapped and accumulated pollutants - dust, lint, pollen, virus carriers etc) its time for a new one.

WHAT is G4?

G4: Manufactured to European standard EN779:2012.

These ratings are determined by adding particles of varying sizes, from .3 microns to 10 microns, into a controlled testing environment. The particles are added upstream of the test filter and a laser particle counter samples the air before it enters the filter and again after it leaves the filter. The two particle counts are compared to calculate the Particle Size Efficiency of the tested filter. Once this is determined, a parameters chart is used to determine the filters rating.

CAN I wash or vacuum the filter?

No. AirClean™ Filters are disposable – AirClean™ strongly recommend not to wash or vacuum the filter as pollutants and virus carriers are trapped in the filter and can’t be removed.
